Law suit. one of my employees who is my brother was injured working. he was outside my property
when it happen. it was not work related am i liable?

Legal Topic Area: Commercial Litigation in NY

As an employer, you would typically not be liable because the employee's sole recovery is through workers compensation if the injury is work related. If the injury is not work related, the employee was apparently not within the course and scope of his employment when injured, and the employer would likely have no liability.
